About

Kim Freedman is the go-to Influence Coach for women leaders in science and technology.  Fueled by her desire to see more women at the top of organization charts, Kim teaches her clients how to increase their influence quotient (IQ) in order to make their intended impact and be rewarded for the value they add.  She inspires women to successfully navigate in a matrix work environment—while also enjoying a fulfilling home life.  Kim knows firsthand the journey is not always smooth, but it is possible to deliberately map the best route and drive onward.

Kim launched Catalyst Leadership Coaching in 2007 to apply her 20+ years of Fortune 500 IT company leadership and talent management experience—along with her certifications in coaching, project management, and human resources—in her work with mid to senior-level managers.  Registered nurse, information technology manager, business operations manager, project manager, human resources director, corporate trainer, and executive coach are the titles she’s held.  Their common element is helping people achieve their career advancement and wellness goals.

Clients say that Kim is an invested thought-partner and pragmatic problem solver with a bias for action.  She uses her insightful and caring style to help women maximize their strengths and resources and view their differences as assets.  Having been a woman in technology in the early 80s with few role models, a single mother relocating cross country needing to build a support system from scratch, and 4.0 MBA achiever while working full time, Kim can empathize with overcoming barriers to success and expanding perspective.

Living her core values of freedom, learning and variety, Kim loves travel and taking her clients on self-discovery trips that result in them achieving what they want in life.
